About Us Main Street Brewery and Lamppost Pizza have brought the astounding tastes of Europe and England, and mixed it with an all-time favorite American past time, Pizza!

Lamppost Pizza has been in Corona, California for over a decade -- located about an hour east and inland of Los Angeles near Riverside; one block north of the 91 freeway on the west side of Main Street. Brian McCormick purchased the franchise 11 years ago and opened the attached Main Street Brewery with Bob Kluver in January of 1997. After a gala opening, the Brewery Crew set to work handcrafting several delicious ales and lagers, creating lots of award winning brews, including Rimpau Red named after one of City's founders, with taste-appeal for even the most discriminating beer lover.
Today, our brewery is fully stocked with at least eight hand-crafted "custom" brews served up chilled on tap at all times. These exciting brews vary from the lightest of tastes to those of the the most robust English creations. The brewery itself is tastefully appointed with a "Cheers" style wraparound oak bar, elegant wood paneling and filled with great conversation, games, and sports on several television monitors.

The Main Street Brewery, Corona, is fueled by a custom built seven-barrel brew house, constructed by the crew at Drake Racecar. Our brewing system allows our brewmaster to turn out more beers in less time, guaranteeing the finest and freshest brews your taste buds have ever encountered.

2002 News: The Main Street Brewery received five (5) new beer awards from the state fair. First place for our Black Pearl Stout, first place for our Hop Daddy India Pale Ale, second place for our Weizenbock, second place for our Maibock, and second place for our Hefeweizen. This was by far our best showing at the fair.
We are now getting our beers prepared for the Great American Beer Festival, held on October 5, 2002.

Last Year: The Main Street Brewery claimed not one, but two medals at the Great American Beer Festival. One Gold and one Silver in the largest national beer competition that recognizes the most outstanding beers being produced in the United States today!
The top three winners in the Great American Beer Festival competition's 55 beer-style categories were announced on October 7, 2000 at their awards ceremony held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
We're "Hoppy" to Report Gold and Silver Medals! Main Street's Black Pearl Stout, a full bodied dark beer with a coffee like flavor walked proudly away with a Gold Medal in the "Sweet Stout" category. In the English Pale Ale category, Main Street Brewery triumphed with a Silver Medal for Hop Daddy I. P. A., a fabulous brew that is amber in color, this beer has a very hoppy flavor and aroma.
Main Street Brewery is now a 10-barrel brewpub located in Corona, California, specializing in brewing full-flavored beers in small fresh batches. Head brewer Bob Kluver says Main Street usually has eight of its own beers on tap, although we have many different styles on tap even our lightest offerings are full of flavor -- the way beer was made before prohibition!
Two thousand Great American Beer Winners were selected by an International panel of brewing experts from an impressive field of 1800 entries received from 420 breweries. More than 1300 breweries were invited to compete. "The Great American Beer Festival is the premier judging event for the American craft beer industry," states Sharon Mowry, Festival Director. "Being chosen a winner, no matter if gold, silver, or bronze, is truly an accomplishment."
The Great American Beer Festival has been held every year since 1991 and is presented by the Association of Brewers, a not-for-profit educational and trade organization founded in 1978 that is dedicated to the promotion of quality beers and brewing throughout the world. The Association also hosts he biannual World Beer Cup and is based in Boulder, Colorado, USA
