Since its inception in 1976 as a 501(c)3 charitable organization, Counseling West has been providing affordable high quality counseling to adults, couples, adolescents and children in two locations in the San Fernando Valley. Our mental health community agency is supported by client fees, grants, funds raised by special events, and direct donations.

We select our counselors carefully, based on their clinical skills and ability to help clients discover the healing resources within themselves.
Our counselors will work with you to explore internal patterns and external behaviors that need to change in order for you to enrich your life. They can help you develop communication skills and self-insights that can improve both your personal and professional relationships.
Early intervention can prevent problems from developing into more serious, long-term situations. Crisis counseling can provide options for problem-solving and recovery, reducing the likelihood of lasting negative effects.
