Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Burlingame
Congregational Meeting Sunday, November 21 at Noon
There will be a short congregational meeting after the 11:00 o'clock service on November 21 in the Sanctuary. The purpose of the meeting is to elect an elder to fill our vacant Elder of Children's Ministries position.
On a Pastoral note...
Today I must miss our worship service in order to join my father and mother at his 90th birthday, attending their church (my home church—Bryn Mawr Presbyterian in Pennsylvania). I share two reflections with you—one what a gift older age can be when mind and soul are intact and body is nearly-intact! I praise God for my parents. Second, what a grace it is to have sturdy foundation pillars like a home church and a habit of regular Sunday worship that give meaning and depth to the living of our days. May God grant us each the wisdom to love our elders both in homes and at our church. ~ Pastor Paul Watermulder

This fall FPCB is discovering how to be "The Most Loving In Place In Town." We will be studying the book of the same title by Ken Blanchard & Phil Hodges. Copies of the book can be purchased through amazon.com.
