We are the oldest church in Los Altos and have grown and changed with it for almost a hundred years. In the late 1950s overwhelmed with a huge number of Sunday School students and limited space, we moved to our current 7 acre location at 1040 Border Road. Hoping to build a school we constructed several wings of classrooms before we even began work on the church building itself.
Now in the twenty-first century we are realizing that long-held dream. Ventana School currently serves about seventy preschool families and in September we will be starting our first Kindergarten class.We still have room to expand into an Episcopal Elementary School.
Our Sunday worship style ranges from the very informal Worship Lab at 9:00 a.m. during the school year in the chapel, to more typical Episcopal services including Rite One Communion at 8:00 a.m. and Choral Eucharist at 10:15 a.m. During the winter we offer Sung Evensong on the second Sunday of the month.
