Featured Procedures at Monterey County Eye Associates
At Monterey County Eye Associates, we offer a comprehensive range of eye care and ophthalmology services to our patients, including:
To restore the vision of patients with cataracts, our experienced ophthalmologists offer surgery to remove the clouded natural lenses and replace them with intraocular lenses (IOL).
To improve the chances of preserving one’s vision, it is essential that glaucoma be diagnosed and treated in its earliest as possible stages. At Monterey County Eye Associates, we offer testing for glaucoma and treatment options including medication, laser, selective laser trabeculoplasty and surgery.
Diabetic retinopathy, a common condition in people with diabetes, can lead to vision problems and even blindness if not properly treated. We offer advanced laser surgery to treat this condition and prevent further vision loss. Prevention of diabetic vision loss is a high priority at Monterey County Eye Associates.
In addition to treating diabetic retinopathy, we offer treatment for other retinal conditions, including retinal detachment, macular degeneration, and macular holes, flashing lights and floaters and retinal tears.
