TRANSPORTS is the East Bay's premier Running and Swimming specialty store and has been serving the Bay Area's running and swimming community since 1982.
We are located in the heart of Oakland’s Rockridge shopping district at 6014 College Avenue, near Claremont Avenue, just 3 blocks north of the Rockridge BART station.
In Berkeley we are located at 1559 Solano Avenue, right in the center of the Solano Avenue shopping district, adjacent to Peralta Plaza and close to the Berkeley/Albany border.
Runners and Walkers
We have one of the largest selections of current-model running and racing shoes in the Bay Area, as well as an extensive array of running apparel, socks, nutritional products, and accessories. Our staff, most of us marathoners, understand the needs of runners and have the experience and technical expertise to observe the gait cycle and help select the gear that is best suited for each individual.
We also offer a wide selection of track & field and cross-country competition shoes at the kickoff of each season.
We carry performance swimwear for competitive and fitness swimmers all year-round, and stock a large assortment of goggles, caps, fins, parkas, wetsuits, and other accessories for all swimmers: Women, men, and children!.
