We have the only avian/exotic specialty hospital in San Francisco, and the only board-certified bird specialist in all of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties.
When your bird, reptile or small mammal develops a problem, its important to be seen quickly by an experienced veterinarian. Our veterinarians at Bay Area Bird Hospital treat thousands of avian/exotic patients each year. By limiting our practice to these species, we have accumulated in-depth knowledge and experience that translates into expert treatment for your pet.
Most of our patients are prey species by nature, who are frightened by the sounds and smells of predators. Because we don't treat dogs and cats, we are able to provide the low stress environment necessary for healing and recovery.
To maintain your pets good health, we also stock a complete line of Harrisons Bird Diet and other specialty foods.
