I have been making quality pottery since 1982 and continue to produce handmade dinnerware in porcelain and stoneware. The most recent additions to my work are low-fired mosaics that I have created for local schools.
In 1988 I began teaching privately in my studio. From 2000 to 2005 I was an adjunct professor of ceramics at Northampton Community College and between 20052008 I renovated an historic building in Covington, KY. Today this building houses Covington Clay where I teach pottery and maintain a retail gallery.
I fulfill two of my needs (to teach and to produce work) through artist-in-residence programs at local schools. Please visit the Residencies and Mosaics pages to see these programs. I successfully teach and direct clay projects to students of all ages (kindergarten through adult).
