Whether youre investing in a new career or personal transformation, I would like to share some of my considerations with you.

My intent is to teach Massage Therapy as service. In order for us to serve our clients well, we need to have both excellent technique, which includes both a thorough understanding of necessary anatomy and sequence, and also an ability to meet our clients at a heart level. In addition, serving clients also means providing them with a smooth running practice. During class we discuss all of the elements necessary in building and maintaining a successful business.

Youll notice that the Basic Massage Therapy program requires a 50 hour practicum. These first experiences away from me will provide you with invaluable opportunity to solve problems and gain confidence in a different way than you can in a classroom setting.

We also offer a 300 hour Advanced Massage Therapy program and a 500 hour Professional Massage Therapist program.These programs enhance the Basic program by offering additional modalities and an opportunity to apply work experience.

During my eighteen years of teaching hundreds of successful Massage Therapists, I have found that students learn in a variety of ways. Because of this, each class is structured to be multi-sensory, incorporating lecture, hands-on work, homework and group discussion.

I would like to welcome you to attend a current class so that you can become familiar with the space that well be working in for several weeks. You will also have an opportunity to observe my teaching methods. If you would like to have a private meeting with me, we can also arrange a time for that.

"As you may remember, one of the most important reasons I took the class was to learn how to relax, and establish a bond with my "spiritual" side. As you may have picked up on, I was also very tired of the rat race and looking to learn a skill doing something I enjoy (massage) and can earn a living at.

Well after only 2 months, I learned how to relax, to give a great massage, and I feel connected to another half of me that was missing a long time. My life is greatly enhanced, and I have you to thank.

As a teacher, it's clear that you excel at teaching the subject matter. However, you taught me more than that. Your optimistic attitude, encouragement, and empathy helped me move to a place inside myself where I could listen to what my heart was saying.

2008 PERFORMANCE FACT SHEET
Each year all vocational schools must report to the State of California their statistics regarding student employment for the previous year. We're very proud of our percentage rates. Our 2008 report is as follows: Fifty-three out of sixty-six, or 80% of the students who began the course of instruction in 2008 completed in that calender year. Of the fifty-three who completed the course during the calendar year, forty-six had chosen Massage Therapy as a "Carer option". Of the forty-six, thirty eight, or 82% secured an employee position or were self-employed either full or part-time within six months of receiving their certificate.
