Elliott & Elliott was established in January 2002 by founding principals John W. Elliott and Thomas A. Elliott. Both John and Tom Elliott have practiced law in San Jose for over thirty years.

While the firms offices are located in San Jose, California, the principals have had extensive trial experience in Northern California, including the Counties of Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Francisco, Alameda, Sacramento, Sonoma, Fresno, Placer, Yolo, San Benito, Marin and Contra Costa. The firm has also litigated matters in Southern California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington. The firm is widely known, in recent years, for handling major construction defect and product liability lawsuits for large commercial property owners, but has a strong background and extensive experience in all phases of commercial litigation. Elliott & Elliott is one of the few firms in the marketplace which will handle complex commercial cases on a contingency fee basis.
Prior to founding Elliott & Elliott, John and Tom Elliott were founding partners of the San Jose law firms of Glaspy, Elliott, Creech & McMahon in 1979, and Reed, Elliott, Creech & Roth in 1985.
