Corte Madera Montessori has been welcoming local children since 1992. We are an American Montessori Society affiliated school providing a nurturing atmosphere for 2-5 year olds .

We are delighted to have our Reggio Emilia inspired art studio. This approach puts the natural development of children as well as the close relationships that they share with their environment at the center of its philosophy. We are attracted to Reggio because of the way it views and respects the child.
Art and other Special Programs

This school was founded by a Montessori teacher. When we started, we had just 2 students. We now welcome the children of about 50 families.

School Day: 9:00am-2:30pm
Half-day options from 9:00am - 12:00pm
3-day and 5-day programs available

Extended School Program is from
8:00am - 9:00am & 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Due to our large premises, Corte Madera Montessori is licensed for 75 students. We choose to keep one of our classrooms as a dedicated art studio and to run with 60 enrolled students.
