Celebrating 35 Years of Terrific Theater!
At the Great American Melodrama and Vaudeville, theatergoers are welcomed into a comfortable atmosphere of cabaret tables with sawdust on the floor and honky-tonk piano music in the air. Here, professional performers from all over the United States gather to present top-notch productions of great classic comedies, musicals and melodramas. Plus, every show includes a wonderful vaudeville revue full of song, dance and comedy. It's "not-to-be missed" fun for everyone!

In 2010, we will continue our special weekday matinees on four Thursdays, replacing our usual 7 pm performance with a 2 pm matinee. These special matinee days wil be on February 4, March 18, May 13 and October 14, 2010.

2010 brings about changes in our seating, as we have switched out some table seating for the popular center pew seating and renumbered the seats. Be sure to check out the new seating chart!

All of us here at the Melodrama thank you for your continued support of live theater, and hope to see you many times this year!

A "tale as old as time" is given a complete makeover and a new twist when everybody's favorite fairy tale is hilariously reconstructed and blended with a sci-fi classic. In the same style as last year's hit Scary Poppins, this new musical is full of song parodies, pop culture references and one-liners. Does our lovely heroine, Trudy, need rescuing when she finds herself the prisoner of the hideous Creature from the Black Lake Lagoon? Or will the transformative power of love bring about a happy ending? Find out in this brand new musical spoof!
