Bob is a native Californian, born in Palo Alto and has lived in the Bay Area all his life. In 1965 he started in Real Estate with Rath Realtors in Concord. In the early 70's he was the manager for 3 Gentrytown Subdivisions: Gentry Courts, Rivergate & Innerspace.
Entered the partnership of East County Brokers in 1977 where he remained until opening Bob Gunson Real Estate in 1994. Specializing in Property Management while still maintaining expertise in the listing & selling of properties both in residential and commercial.
Community service is a cornerstone of the business philosophy. Having served on the Board of Directors of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce for many years was not enough. Three separate times Bob served as the Chairman of the Board.
Other community involvement includes Past President of the Antioch Rotary Club & Advisory Board Chairman for the East County Salvation Army. He continues to be active in all the above.
Bob is also the Chapter President of the Alameda/Contra Costa Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers for 2010.
Bob is a Certified Notary Signing Agent and a member of the National Notary Association.
Bob's wife, Paulette is licensed and available to help with your Real Estate needs as well as being the Office Manager & Bookeeper. Paulette has been in the office since 1995.
