Each doctor in our group has completed formal subspecialty training in medical and surgical diseases of the retina, vitreous and macula. Our mission is to preserve and restore vision in a caring, state-of-the-art facility providing the highest level of patient care using compassion, innovation and the latest technologies.

Our Director - Dr. Gallemore

Dr. Ron P. Gallemore, Founder and Director of the Retina Macula Institute, is an internationally recognized clinician, scientist and surgeon. He received his M.D. degree from the University of California, San Francisco, where he graduated with top honors. He trained at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, where he completed his residency. He then completed his vitreo-retinal surgery fellowship at the prestigious, Duke University.
