We are educators dedicated to providing you with natural, whole language immersion experiences that make leaning Spanish rewarding, satisfying, and fun, while you are achieving real linguistic goals. Our teachers come from many countries and backgrounds, and have the common goal of helping you achieve fluency. We are based in San Francisco, California and Oaxaca, Mexico, but we will travel to your site if you have a group!

We offer uniquely fun and challenging spanish courses: WEEKEND en español® total immersion Spanish Retreats, WEEKEND Half-Day and One-Day Spanish Workshops, weekday afternoon and evening SMALL GROUP CLASSES, private lessons and custom corportate packages. We also offer conversation parties, trips abroad, and educational materials (see below)--all for the student seeking to learn Spanish, to strengthen communication skills, for work here and abroad, and for the joy of personal saitisfaction in increased self-expression and communication.

Medical Spanish is a specialty of ours--we offer general Medical Spanish Workshops, and also ObGyn/midwifery Workshops and Workshops for Mental Health Workers, providing specific medical vocabulary covering a wide range of medical issues and insight for working with the Latino community. We also offer Medical Spanish group classes every Saturday!

We conduct WEEKEND en español® total immersion Spanish RETREATS to Northern California or a site of your choosing, throughout the year. Programs are available for beginners, intermendiates, and advanced students, and also special offerings for Medical Spanish for health care providers. Our Retreats vary from 2- to 4-day get-aways. No English allowed!

SEMANA en español™ Total Immersion TRIPS to beautiful Oaxaca, Mexico . . . There is nothing like a true immersion in language and culture, sustained practice in authentic contexts, to push you to a new level of listening and speaking comprehension! Whether beginner or advanced, a break-through awaits you in this wonderful city, chosen by UNESCO as a patrimony of humanity site, and loved by all who have the opportunity to spend time there. Our program features structured learning, hands-on workshops and presentations with local experts, visits to markets, museums, villages, and archeological sites, and of course, culinary delights!

CineClub en español! Join us on the first Friday of the month for a screening of a film in Spanish, with a full exploration of local and idiomatic jargon, vocabulary, cultural points before the screening, and discussion afterwards.

Quarterly Seasonal Dinners, Las Cenas Estacionales are a great way to practice your language skills in a natural social setting, and meet others who love Spanish and cocina latina! Different dishes and cocineros are featured every time!

Order your own set of our original WEEKEND en español® learning materials--flash cards, verb lists, vocabulary, proverbs, and other items, including medical Spanish materials, for students and teachers.We also have an ever-changing variety of authentic art, artesanía, clothing and textiles from Latin America. Wool and mohair natural dye, hand-loomed tapetes from Teotitlán del Valle are our specialty. Come see our current supply!
