Dear Harmonie Clients, Business Associates, and Friends,
It is with great regret that after 22 years of serving the spa needs of our loyal clientele in the Bay Area, the spa had to close. Sadly, our lease had come to an end. After months of discussion where we examined all possibilities, we could not come to viable terms that would have allowed Harmonie to continue to exist in its location. Moving to another location was taken into consideration. However the cost of rebuilding a spa facility in the current economic climate proved to be prohibitive.
Harmonie European Day Spa, Inc. had to file chapter 7 on August 30th 2010. Attached hereto, please find the Notice issued by the Bankruptcy Court.
Please understand that everything that was humanly possible was done to prevent this occurrence. Until the last 24 hours before its closing we firmly believed that the business would continue on.
To help you continue you spa care please find below the names of three spas who I know will offer you outstanding spa services and where a few of Harmonies excellent spa professionals have found employment. When calling any of these spas, I encourage you to inquire about any special they might offer exclusively to Harmonies former clients.
Immense gratefulness goes to our wonderful team of spa professionals, to our dear clients, to our business associates including the owners of the building, and to everyone who have helped make Harmonie a wonderful spa for the past two decades.
