History of the BusinessAnimal Care Center was established in 1990. Our clinic owners acquired the practice in November, 2007. Our Veterinarian has a strong background in emergency and critical care medicine, and we also offer compassionate and progressive options for your pet's optimal care. In addition, we welcome local dog and cat breeders, hoping to establish a comfortable and cooperative medical environment with a developing emphasis on fertility, reproduction, and neonatal care.
About the DoctorDoctor Laurel S. Cain graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, then completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Internal Medicine and surgery at The University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1986, followed by a year in a Small Animal Internal Medicine residency at The Ohio State University. She has provided exceptional veterinary care at a variety of Small Animal, Private, Referral Center, and Emergency practices, throughout California since 1987. Dr. Cain and her husband, Hospital Manager, Marc Denk, are life-long dog and cat fanciers. They are also avid dog show enthusiasts owning, actively showing, and breeding Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Tibetan Mastiff, Shiba Inu, and Pulik, and are both Club Officers and Board Members of the newly established Temecula Kennel Club.
