Teach By-The-Beach offers a rare combination of teaching and therapeutic approaches to individuals with educational or communicative needs. Jane Tyler, the Director, holds multiple Master's degrees, and has served as a public school teacher, speech therapist, reading specialist, and resource specialist for 23 years. She is an award-winning educator whose dedication is outstanding.
Some of the clients who come to Teach-By-The Beach have complicated learning disabilities or dyslexia. Others need to remediate a speech impediment or language processing disorder. Still others seek academic tutoring in every imaginable subject. In each case, the staff's enthusiasm, in-depth knowledge, and superlative instructional techniques ensure that target goals are reached.
Teach By-The-Beach offers a full spectrum of services ranging from early childhood subject matter to highest-end secondary math & science curricula. In addition, instruction in Spanish, French, computer skills, and standardized test preparation is provided with success rates that have been overwhelming!
As a team, the instructors hold a total of four masters degrees from highly prestigious universities, four teaching credentials, two learning specialist credentials, and a Speech Pathologist license from the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance. They are energetic, compassionate, and eager to meet the individual needs of all of their students.
