Oxton Kennels & Pet Resort is the premier dog and cat boarding facility for Monterey County. We've been in the pet boarding business for over 50 years with a facility run by animal experts in the animal industry. Staff is individually trained to provide the highest standard of pet care.

We pride ourselves in providing a clean and friendly atmosphere to stay in while their families are away. We are your pet's home away from home.

Standard Kennels are 16 sq. ft. indoor/60 sq. ft. outdoor common walled chain link runs inclusive or raised kennel mats, "yappy hour" where all our guests receive a complimentary dog biscuit in the evening and one room service meal daily. Additional services are available - see below...

Cats are kept in a variety of indoor enclosures and rotated into our enclosed indoor play area.

Our Executive suites are inclusive of custom plush beds, televisions (tuned to Animal Planet of course), web cams, a room service meal, yappy hour and business walks as needed.

Executive Suites are 54 sq. ft. You can choose to have your dog spend the day in a 60sq.ft. outside run during the day.

Our Standard Suites are inclusive of comfy plush European style beds, a room service meal daily, yappy hour and business walks as needed.
Standard Suites are 36 sq. ft. and you can choose to have your dog spend the day in a 60 sq.ft. outside run during the day.

All suites are designed and built keeping your pets comfort and safety in mind. Do dogs watch TV? Who really knows. We've seen several stare at them as if they truly are watching but we find that most find the noise the TV makes along with the familiar home style design of the suite comforting and familiar to them. It's the perfect solution to pets that might historically find boarding stressful.
The web cams enable pet owners to go on line from their location and check on their loved one ~ comforting them as well.

Executive Suites........................ $47/day ($30/day for roommate)

Standard Suites......................... $35/day ($25/day for roommate)

Standard Kennel........................ $20/day per dog

Cat Condo.................................. $16/day per cat

Private Walks.............................$5.00 each

Private Play Time......................$20.00 (20-30 minutes)

Belly Scratch & Cuddle Time...$10.00 (15 minutes)

Grooming................................. Breed specific ~ ask for rate.

Dogs & Cats: Rabies every 1-3 years
Visiting hours for standard kennels are between 12PM and 3PM daily.
Visiting hours for suites are between 9am and 6PM daily. Reservations are required for suites at all times ~ all year.
Grooming fees based upon size, breed and condition of pet and determined by staff at time of check in.
