Hat Squad Investigations was established in 2005. The owner, Clark
Meyer, is a retired police Sergeant with over 23 years of law
enforcement experience with a California Bay Area department. During
his career, he investigated numerous major crimes, and assisted other
agencies in the area. Mr. Meyer is a traffic accident investigator and
reconstructionist. He completed his accident investigation and
reconstruction education in 1995, but continued his course work in those
areas throughout his years on the police force. During his career, he
investigated over 600 traffic accidents.
Mr. Meyer completed his polygraph examiner training in 2005 at the
Backster School of Lie Detection. Since that time, he has performed
numerous private party polygraph exams. He has also performed
pre-employment polygraphs for a fire department and for law
enforcement agencies. He has assisted several businesses in testing their
employees to determine who was responsible for a theft.
