We provide Intravenous (sleep) Sedation for the highly scared patient. We also treat patients that simply want a more comfortable dental experience. Intravenous Sedation is an advanced sedative technique. It differs from the oral conscious sedation method that some other offices advertise, because it is a more controlled and deeper method of sedation. Special permitting is required to perform the technique. Dr. Gagne has been using Intravenous Sedation to help his patients since 1991 and is one of the most senior and experienced sleep dentists in California. Sleep dentistry makes it possible for you to get your dental work done now before there is more damage to your teeth and your overall health.

Patients that have had bad dental experiences in the past are amazed that they no longer fear going to the dentist because they can be comfortably sedated during treatment. Patients that have moderate to severe gag reflexes find that their gag response is gone when they are sedated. Intravenous Sedation makes possible dental treatment that was previously impossible for many patients.

Our office is dedicated to providing our patients with maximum comfort no matter what the situation or treatment needed. Not all patients require Intravenous Sedation. We use a full compliment of sedative techniques that include oral and nitrous oxide sedation. General Dentistry

Patients that have delayed care tend to have multiple problems. They need treatment that encompasses many specialty areas of dentistry, such as oral surgery, periodontics, and endodontics. Some dental specialists do provide sedation, but only provide care in their specialty area. Many sedation sessions with various specialists might be necessary to treat various problems. However, Dr. Gagne, as a general dentist, can provide a wider range of services. In most cases a referral to a specialist is not necessary.
