Message From the Pastor
Thank you for your interest in Heritage Baptist Church. I’d like you to know what’s important to those of us who attend our church. Jesus Christ came into the world in order that people might have life. That is, that they might have life abundantly and they might have it eternally. And yet we have found that there are all kinds of people in our country, people that attend church regularly, try to live a good life, and even follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and yet churches have failed to communicate to them how they can know for sure that they have eternal life and are going to Heaven.
Our Lord Jesus Christ left us with a Great Commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 29:19-20). He also left us with two Great Commandments: “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind …You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39).
We invite you to attend Heritage Baptist Church. We are seeking to fulfill the Great Commission by keeping the Great Commandments. Will you join us?
