Junior Taylor Clute scored three goals but it wasn't enough for the Long Beach State 49ers as they dropped an 11-5 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's water polo decision to No. 3 ULCA at the Spieker Aquatics Center on Sunday afternoon. (more)

The Long Beach State men's and women's cross country teams completed the Big West Conference Championships on a wet and muddy Saturday morning at UC Riverside's Agricultural Operations Course. The 49ers finished in third place and the men placed fourth. (more)
