Gumms Optical is located on the corner of Main and Hickory Street in Historic Red Bluff. The business was established in February of 1977 in the Old Cowtown Plaza (now Western Village Shopping Center) on Antelope Boulevard.
John Gumm, owner and Optician, opened a full service optical shop, which includes contact lenses and fitting, adjusting eyeglasses, grinding, and all repairs. We also carry a very large selection of sunglasses with names like, Maui Jim, Oakley, Ray Ban, Christian Dior, Fendi, Gucci, Guess, Coach and many more. Gumms Optical moved to their present location, on Main Street, in February of 1988.
