"As a Board Certified Prosthodontist, I understand, personally, the confidence a nice smile can bring to someone. The saddest thing is to see patients who have been living for years with pain or embarrassment of their smile due to fear. If that describes you, I want to help. Please come visit me and my team of dedicated professionals for a consultation - and experience the warmth and comfort of our office.
- Dr. Pamela MacPherson
Why is Dr. MacPherson regarded as a specialist in treating Complex Dental Problems?
Dr. MacPherson is not only a dentist. Shes also a Prosthodontist. And shes not only a Prosthodontist, shes a Board Certified Prosthodontist. Whats the difference? Well, of the more than 170,000 dentists in the U.S., only about 3,200 completed an extra 3 years of school and clinical training through a residency program to become a Prosthodontist.1 And only about 800 Prosthodontists in the U.S. today1 have successfully completed the rigorous exams and treatment reviews to become a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. MacPherson has proven her expertise to a panel of experts by demonstrating how successful she is at patient diagnosis, treatment, and care. But if you want to know how great she really is, just listen to her patients.

Why should I see a Prosthodontist instead of a General Dentist?
A Prosthodontist is a dental specialist trained specifically to restore function and esthetics to teeth (damaged, poorly shaped, broken or missing), mouth structures or existing dental devices and prostheses through treatments such as Crowns, Bridges, Dentures/Partial Dentures, Dental Implants, Inlays/Onlays, and Veneers.
Prosthodontists are also trained to treat significant functional problems arising from TMJ & Jaw/Joint Problems, Traumatic Injuries to the Mouth, Congenital Oral Defects, Oral Cancer Reconstruction, Bruxism and Sleep Disorders. To become an expert in treating complex problems like these, a Prosthodontist trains for an additional three years beyond dental school.
