*WEST COAST 101- In an effort to preserve the fundamental characteristics of West Coast Swing, the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) has delved back into formal Pattern Lists and Names, starting in 1950 - and following the evolution up through 2009. This was in order to be able to sanction 14 BASIC PATTERNS that could authentically represent the essence of West Coast Swing. This class will focus on these 14 Basic Patterns, timing and music. If you want to learn West Coast Swing or brush up on your patterns, this is the class for you.
Every Saturday Night we will also offer a West Coast Swing Dance after the West Coast 101 class. The dance starts at 8:00pm - 10:00pm. This will be the perfect place to practice your West Coast Swing moves, and gain confidence on the dance floor.

Cost is only: $5.00 per person ($3.00 per person with a dance card)
We also sell dance shoes for West Coast Swing dancing.
The typical West Coast Swing shoes for men are a latin practice shoe (usually in black) with a 1.5 in heel and a suede sole. We offer Stephanie and Very Fine dance shoes.
