State of the City address rescheduled to Nov. 15, at 5 p.m. Due to the fire at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, the annual State of the City address, originally scheduled for October 26 at 3 p.m., has been rescheduled to Mon., Nov. 15, at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers 311 Vernon St. Roseville, CA 95678.

Solar Billing Plan Discussion Rescheduled Discussions with the Roseville City Council on changes to the way solar customers are billed have been rescheduled to Wednesday, Nov. 17. Fall Leaf Pickup Program begins Nov. 1 Rosevilles popular Fall Leaf Pickup Program begins November 1, 2010 and concludes mid-January 2011, weather permitting. The program keeps fallen leaves and debris from clogging stormwater drains and washing into our creeks and streams, disturbing the sensitive ecological balance and threatening plants and wildlife.

Governor proclaims State of Emergency in Roseville Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a State of Emergency for Placer County in response to the fire at the Westfield Galleria Mall. This allows for the expedited clean-up of the site, allows agencies involved in the response to be eligible for up to 75 percent of their extraordinary expenses related to the response, including mutual aid; and waive the one-week waiting period for unemployment insurance for workers affected by the incident.
