ABOUT SBROCCO: Sbrocco is Des Moines best one stop shop for all things wine. Established by seven local owners (Full Court Press.) We are a neighborhood restaurant, wine bar, and wine shop where friends can come together and enjoy the best things in life: great wine, great food, and great company in an informal, yet sophisticated setting. We created a restaurant that would emphasize fresh and local foods carefully prepared and matched with excellent wines and terrific service. Andrew Meek of Sage and Sbrocco are joining forces to create the best food and wine experience in Iowa!
THE WINE: The wine bar and restaurant feature 42 wines by the glass, and over 200 wines by the bottle most priced under $40. Our wine list is eclectic yet accessible, which includes wines and varietals that span the globe. We offer 6oz glass pours as well as wines by the flight. Every time you visit there will be something new to try from our wine list. Wines can also be purchased out of our shop and poured at your table with a corkage fee.
THE WINE SHOP: Sbrocco also features a world class wine cellar thatcarries over 1000 different wines. We host wine and food classes that can be found on our calendar of events. The cellar also carries a great selection of fine cheeses, meats, and olives. You can also find a nice selection of stemware, decanters, openers, and other necessary or wine gadgets. Sbrocco is a proud supporter of Riedel glassware.
THE FOOD: Sbroccos restaurant menu is focused on fresh, local, organic, and seasonal ingredients. Quality is our top priority. Executive Chef Andrew Meek is always looking to create new dishes that strike a balance between comfort and adventure. We are as passionate about the food that we prepare as we are about the wine we serve. Our kitchen closes at 10:00p.m.
