Firm principal David Lee Rice is renowned throughout California as a successful and competent lawyer. His reputation comes from his membership with the State Bar of California as a Board Certified Specialist in Taxation Law. Mr. Rice is Vice Chair of the Board of Legal Specialization in Taxation with the State Bar, Chair of the State Bar Income Tax Committee, and Chair of the Tax Procedure and Litigation Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is a member of the State Bar Tax Committee on Procedure and Litigation, and the Tax and Estate Planning sections of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the South Bay Bar Association. Mr. Rice is also a member of South Bay Estate Planning Council, National Academy of Elder Care Attorneys, and the Taxation and Estate Sections of the American Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Rice has not only proposed new tax legislation, but has appeared before committees of the United States Congress. He has served on many educational panels with the State Bar of California as well as a number of Certified Public Accounting organizations.
