David Kitts, MD, FACS, is a general and vascular surgeon serving the North Lake Tahoe communities, including Incline Village and Truckee, since 1998. His practice also extends to Plumas County. His office is in Truckee.
Dr. Kitts received his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1985. He completed his internship and surgical residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 1991. Focusing on general, vascular, and thoracic surgery, this university training led to a private practice built on these three disciplines.
Dr. Kitts is Board Certified in Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons(FACS) and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. He is fellowship trained in vascular surgery.
