We use an intra-oral video camera which allows our patients to see their teeth on a video monitor. It can provide a color picture for patient information or a printed image for insurance purposes. We also have Computer Dental Radiography (CDR). This technology enables us to give each of our patients a more precise diagnosis and allows us to offer better treatment. The CDR also emits less than 50 percent of the amount of radiation than may occur during standard dental x-rays. We feel that this reduction to the exposure of radiation could be a health benefit for our patients.
We use Autoclave Sterilization on all instruments, tools, drills and dental handpieces after each patient.
Recent studies done on dental equipment show that organisms can live in water lines. We have put all of our dental units on a sterile water system. When you are being treated at our practice, be assured that the water we use to rinse your mouth will be sterile.
