A valley man in charge of money at a Sanger roofing company is charged with grand theft and embezzlement. Ronald Fredrickson was arrested by Visalia Police after taking about thirty thousand dollars and bought about two hundred thousand dollars worth of vehicles.

California's Megan's Law provides the public with certain information on the whereabouts of sex offenders so that members of our local communities may protect themselves and their children. Megan's Law is named after seven-year-old Megan Kanka, a New Jersey girl who was raped and killed by a known child molester who had moved across the street from the family without their knowledge. In the wake of the tragedy, the Kankas sought to have local communities warned about sex offenders in the area. All states now have a form of Megan's Law.

Repo agents came to the Running Horse site to grab ten pieces of heavy equipment used to build the golf course. The agents say the company that owns the equipment fell behind on its payments and the finance company wants it all back. But, the repo men were only able to recover one small bulldozer.
