I have been an active member of the community on the western slope of El Dorado County for nearly 20 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, I was the Broker/Owner of Century 21 Great West Properties in Placerville and Pollock Pines. With as many as 60 realtor associates working under my license, I dealt with various and often serious issues occurring in real estate transactions. That experience exposed me to delicate problems often associated with Divorce or Estate matters. I always knew I had the aptitude and capacity to help clients with their legal concerns and problems. I believe that my business and real estate experience is a major asset benefiting my clients, because I understand how legal matters can arise and affect your quality of life. It is important to communicate with clients and anticipate problems before they arise.

As part of my commitment to my clients and our community I am actively involved in Non-Profit leadership. Currently, I serve as a board member at M.O.R.E., an organization that helps dreams come true for members with disabilities by helping them develop life and job skills allowing them to live more independent and productive lives. I also serve on the board at New Morning, which provides emergency shelter and counseling services to at-risk youth in our community. Additionally, I am on the board of CASA, an organization that provides court appointed advocates for children entering dependency and delinquency court proceedings. Plus, I have am an active Kiwanian. I have been a member for over a decade serving as President in 2003/2004. I have served on the board of directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of El Dorado County as well as Early Childhood Counseling Center (EC3).
