HOPE's mission is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities to live and participate in their communities.
Imagine living your life behind closed doors, isolated from your friends and family, just because you're "different." Not too long ago, this was the unfortunate reality for people with developmental disabilities. Thankfully, a group of concerned parents of children with special needs joined together to change that reality. They believed that their children deserved the same opportunities enjoyed by their siblings and friends. These parents opened a world of opportunity for their children to become valued and participating members of their communities.
Out of their efforts grew HOPE Services. Today, we provide programs and services – including job training, counseling and community living — that assist more than 2,500 children, adults and seniors with developmental disabilities.
