Gilbert Maines began his practice after passing the California State Bar in 1970.
The Law Office of Gilbert Maines is a general private practice law firm with Civil litigation as the primary focus. Mr. Maines spent the first 2 years of his career as a trial attorney, trying 27 cases in 18 months. In this immediate professional immersion, he quickly honed his courtroom and legal skills.
After nearly 40 years in practice as a business and trial attorney, he has earned the respect of both Judge and jury as well as that of his peers.

Compromise and coming to an agreement is a skill just as important as winning in the courtroom. Mr. Maines is a counselor who wants to take his client where the client wants to go and to do it in the most expedient manner possible. He is well known for his ability to help all parties come to an agreement.
