Bay Area Canine was opened in 1992 by Wayne Berman. Private in home dog training and group classes are available.
Classes in Puppy Management and Basic Obedience are held at Pleasant Hill and Pinole Pet Food Express stores. Positive reinforcement techniques are used to teach dogs the commands which can be used by owners as tools for practical application. Behavior problems are addressed as well as instructing family members as to the proper relationship which should be developed with their dog to prevent problems occurring in the future and to enhance their current and lifelong relationship.
Wayne Berman has over 30 years professional dog training experience and has personally trained over 3,000 dogs, plus many others through group classes. He is a California state certified dog trainer and is certified in pet first aid and CPR.
