She enjoys her Sheltie named Sasi, and fully supports the therapeutic value of a loving pet. She loves scuba diving in warm, tropical waters whenever possible. Barbara has been diving in the Galapagos Islands; Fiji, in the Sumosumo Straits, on the Rainbow Reef; The Blue Hole of Belize; several sites in Mexico, as well as all along the North and Central Coast of California--near where she calls home. Barbara can often be seen tossing her head back, and laughing out loud, remarking, "This is the best, and happiest, and healthiest time of my WHOLE life--so far."
