San Mateo Attorney on Elkins Task Force
Tulin Acikalin, Managing Attorney at the San Mateo County BayLegal Office, was appointed by the Judicial Council of California to a 3-year term on the Elkins Family Law Task Force on July 1, 2010. The Elkins Family Law Task Force is a group of appellate court justices, court executives and many others formed to increase access to justice, ensure due process, and provide for more effective and consistent rules, policies, and procedures.
BayLegal Attorney Co-Authors National Law Manual
Immigration & DV Regional Coordinator Catherine Ward-Seitz received co-author credits for the 2nd edition of a publication released by Immigrant Legal Resource Center in May of 2010 called "The U-Visa Obtaining Status for Immigrant Victims of Crime". This book serves as an unofficial, nationwide reference on the U-Visa and will be used by attorneys and many others across the country.
