We are a non-denominational "Grace" Bible church that believes in being filled with the Holy Spirit, in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and in the giftings and ministries of the Holy Spirit.
We are a non-denominational Bible church that was founded in 1853. We proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ as: Savior, Lord, Healer, Deliverer, Baptizer, and soon-coming King. We teach: the 9 gifts and 9 fruit of the Holy Spirit, the Grace of God, Spirit-Soul and Body, the 5-fold ministries (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher), the infallibility of scripture, an overseeing eldership, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. We are missions-oriented, and emphasize: Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship and Ministry.
We are an "imperfect church for imperfect people." We love and care about people. Our church is only for sinners (just like we are) -- people who truly want to follow Jesus but who sometimes stumble along the journey of "good intentions." We serve a wonderful God of mercy and miracles who loves us and is our caring Heavenly Father. We honor Jesus Christ as the Head of our church and lives. We pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us so that Jesus is exalted, the Word of God is honored, so we can grow closer in our relationship with the Lord and each other, and so we can be a witness for Jesus in our community.
Our Purpose . . . to bring people to Jesus Christ . . . and commitment in His local church family, help them grow to Christian maturity, and enable and equip them for ministry in the church, in the community, and for their life mission in the world, in order to magnify the Lord.
We are located in the beautiful "Gold Country" of California on Main Street in Mokelumne Hill, 1 block off Hwy. 49 just 8 miles southeast of Jackson, CA
