Parent coaching is an educational process that teaches skills to empower parents to handle the type of ordinary challenges and problems most parents face. A parent coach doesn't do the parenting for you, but rather teaches you how to integrate some effective, practical techniques into your established parenting style. This is comparable to a sports coach who doesn’t play in the game, but rather teaches the players techniques to strengthen their natural abilities. As your parent coach, I will teach you simple techniques, as well as demonstrating, specifically, how to apply these techniques to your real-life parenting situations.
