Pertussis can be a fatal illness at any age butbabies are at the highest risk. The only way to protectnewborns younger than 2 months old, is to immunize those whom come in contact with them.

The Pertusis vaccine we use is part of the tetnus and diptheria vaccine "TDAP" also known as Adacel.We recommend booster shots every ten years. The vaccine we use for ages under 11 years old is in the form of "DPT".
