NpDS reviews the organizational structure of small Non-Profits to help craft the necessary controls, i.e., policies & procedures, based on business best practices and General Acceptable Accounting Principles.

NpDS works to identify funding resources & relationships/collaborations that build capacity and creates an avenue to sustain and empower smaller NPs.

The fiscal administrator is responsible for the overall coordination and continuity of financial controls as it relate to reporting the financial position as well as program controls of a non-profit. The FA will work cohesively with management and the CPA to maintain a relationship conducive to achieving successful financial outcomes with the external and internal environmental elements of your organization.

1) Identify critical concerns that could potentially produce adverse results to achieving goals & objectives.
2) Define & develop the annual organization budget
3) Monitor & establish budget controls congruent with the approved budget requirements
4) Analyze & remain abreast of spending patterns and adjust and/or provide recommendations to management accordingly
5) Communicate with CPA and/or grant funding agencies relevant to annual financial reporting, and
6) Ensure the integrity of all financial matters

Grant Writing & Evaluation
Let NpDS identify and prepare top quality proposals that support the mission of your organization.The process involves reviewing your completed grant application prior to submission or following a denial. Whether a final technical review or learning from previous challenges, this is a valuable service to any new or seasoned organization.

NpDS can assist and/or manage the implementation of your new program after the grant award.

Ensure all frequency, monthly, interim and annual, reporting to grant funding agencies are completed in a timely manner and consistent with all contractual and compliance requirements
Ensure all grants are strategically aligned with the overall mission and goals of the organization
Complete proposals (specific to finance) to procure additional program funding
Maintain program budgets to ensure approved expenditures are consistent with program servicess
Ensures complete follow-through is conducted on all required funding reporting, i.e., extensions requests, and supplemental reporting

NpDS Computer Training
NpDS' Computer Learning training course is built upon a model that provides the student with a graduated approach to mastering essential basic computers skills in nine (9) months, or 100 hours of instruction. Students who benefit from this course are adults with novice to intermediate-level computer skills. Students learn in a controlled environment with a hands-on approach to the material through interactive exercises. The instructor is sensitive to the student?s level of computer exposure and works effortlessly to clarify complicated computer concepts by the use of high-quality audio, graphics and animation.

Compensation for services is determined by the size of the annual operating budget & calculated on a % basis. If no budget is available, an hourly rate of $125 will be applied. A suite of services can be designed to accommodate organizations with budgets of $1mm or less. Services are designed for southern California organizations at this time.
