Meet Our Chef
Peter Humes has extensive experience catering in both small and large venues. As catering chef for Dean & Deluca in New York City, his culinary skills were noted by well known celebrities.
Tanya Humes is from Bangkok, Thailand and also is an excellent chef with many Asian recipes to her credit. She is passionate about the food she prepares and enjoys planning events.
They have joined forces here in San Diego to create California-Asian fusion cuisine, prepared with organic ingredients.

Organic foods are those produced according to specific growing and processing standards and it means they do not contain harmful pesticides and artificial additives. We at Cal Asia Food use certified organic ingredients in all our prepared dishes as a commitment to food quality and the environment. We have a passion and energy about using fresh foods, and many of our dishes are inspired by the seasonal ingredients provided by the local farmers and growers we support. We often tailor our dishes around these fresh ingredients and use them as building blocks in our ever-changing menu.
