About the TechnologySpray foam insulation provides superior performance. This system is applied as a polyurethane liquid-- made up of millions of microscopic cellswhich expands into a semi-rigid mass. This technology simultaneously adheres, insulates and air-seals off drafty areas such as: baseboards, headers, sill plates, around windows, doors, electrical outlets, pipes, etc.
It also minimizes uncontrolled air leakage throughout the building (walls, attics, ceilings, crawlspace) thereby reducing loss of energy to the environment.

Energy efficiency With reduction of air leakage, energy loss is minimized. According to the US Department of Energy, heating and cooling costs can be reduced by as much as 50%.
Reduces HVAC Tonnage With the combination of reducing air infiltration and loads (sensible and latent) heating and air conditioning "tonnage" can be reduced by 40%.
Draft-Free Environment Sealing cracks, joints, etc. leads to prevention of uncontrolled movement of air through wall assemblies. Spray foam insulation has been rated to withstand gust wind conditions up to 160 miles per hour. Laboratory testing confirms this technology meets the intent of all the latest North American Building Codes in the U.S. and Canada, including the ICC, IRC, and IBC.
