At The Freedom Center, we pride ourselves on offering "recovery with dignity." From the caller's first interaction with the agency to the graduation ceremony or final handshake culminating treatment, The Freedom Center treats clients with dignity — motivating, educating, guiding, and supporting clients through the recovery process. But "recovery with dignity" not only describes how we treat our clients, it also reminds us — and our clients — that treatment can only be successful as clients regain the sense of self-worth lost in their addiction.
Recovery exists for everyone willing to take an honest look at themselves and devote the time and energy the process demands. Our staff works closely with clients to overcome their personal barriers to treatment. Many have learned how to live successful lives free of addiction.
The Freedom Center provides a variety of outpatient programs to support recovery:

The Freedom Center serves a diverse group of clients: adults, adolescents, monolingual and bilingual Spanish-speakers, and clients involved in the mental health system.
We have offices located in Redwood City, and Half Moon Bay. Many services are offered onsite in local schools, businesses and community centers. We may be able to provide services at your facility.
Staff of The Freedom Center have been providing services to the community for over twenty years. Last year, over 1000 adults and adolescents enrolled in treatment at The Freedom Center. The Freedom Center receives referrals from Probation, the courts, local police departments, attornies, San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services , the schools, families, local businesses, the Department of Mental Health, and other agencies.
