Chef Giovanni Zocca was born in Trapani, Sicily within sight of the sea. In fact, as a young boy he helped the fishermen mend their nets. Later he became a fisherman himself. Perhaps that is the reason his seafood dishes are so spectacular. The other reason is that young Giovanni learned to cook from one of the masters of Sicilian .
