Real Prevention is a small business providing evidence-based drug prevention and health education programs for youth grades 6-12. These programs are culturally grounded and have been proven effective for reducing drug use and establishing anti-drug attitudes and beliefs. Our programs enhance life skills such as decision-making, communication and drug-resistance strategies.
Conducting research and development for these programs through the National Institutes of Health, REAL Prevention disseminates only those programs proven to be effective. Programs range from classroom-based to online e-learning courses. We are excited to announce that our keepin’ it REAL program is one of the few programs mentioned as an exemplar program in “Facing Addiction in America: The Surgeon General’s Report on Alcohol, Drugs, and Health.”
