Stay Away From These Guys.
I had one of their techs come out to check a problem with my gate motor. There was a $50 service fee for the visit. The foot pedal was not disengaging the chain from the motor. The tech said that the part needed to fix this was almost as much as a new motor and that I shouldn’t bother with repair. He then estimated that a new motor with installation would be about $3500. I have since learned that the part assembly, that in this case may or may not need to be replaced, costs less than $100. It wasn't needed. Yesterday I repaired the motor myself without the new assembly. The problem was that two of four pins in the disengagement assembly had unscrewed, thus rendering the mechanism inoperable. I screwed the two pins back in and the foot pedal works. All it cost me was a few hours of work and $9 for a tube of grease. So, either thier technician is lacking knowledge of and capability in repair work or he was dishonest in trying to sell me something I clearly did not need. Whichever is the case, I would like my $50 back.
Today called them and explained the problem. They didn't care. They said they do not repair motors. This is a lie. Their website offers repair services on motors. And the tech did offer the repair. This company is very shady. They operate without a license, which is illegal in California. They do not list a complete address nor do they have an email address.
Do not do business with these people.
