The dental community has extremely high regard for the orthodontic care provided by Dr. Chris Cruz. In fact, many dentists in the area have chosen Dr. Cruz to care for their family members. We recognize that each patient has different needs and we pride ourselves in the courteous service and state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment we deliver. Dr. Cruz is a Board Certified orthodontist specializing in creating beautiful smiles using braces or Invisalign for children and adults. Dr. Cruz is a native of San Diegan, born and raised in Pacific Beach, and a graduate of Mission Bay High School. He attended UCSD, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and meeting his future wife, Keri. They currently have two children, Caylie age 11, and Carly age 6. Dr. Cruz earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003 graduating Cum Laude from UCLA. He went on to complete an additional 2 years of postgraduate residency at UCLA specializing solely in orthodontics. 

As a father and husband, Dr. Cruz is a firm believer in strong family values and carries this philosophy into his practice, giving his patients the care and attention they deserve. Using state-of-the-art technology Dr. Cruz is committed to excellence and dedicated to his own personal development. 

Dr. Cruz is an Invisalign-certified provider and an active member in several national, regional, and local dental societies including the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, and the San Diego Dental Society to name a few. He also lectures both general dentists and specialists regarding current orthodontic affairs. Dr. Cruz enjoys spending time in his free time with his family, taking surf trips to exotic locations, and playing beach volleyball.
