Dr. Vina Zinn

Welcome to Parkfield Orthodontics! Let me briefly introduce myself! I was originally born in China and moved to Seattle with my family at the age of 8. I have lived in 2 continents, 5 states, 7 cities and have attended 13 schools! After high school, I was accepted into the competitive combined degree program at the University of Connecticut. There I received both my undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and my Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). During dental school, I traveled to Barrow, Alaska (the northern most city in the United States) and volunteered with Indian Health Services to treat the under-served Native Alaskan population.

After graduating, I moved to Michigan to join my parents and to pursue my dream of becoming an Orthodontist. I enrolled in the prestigious three-year Orthodontic residency at the University of Michigan and received my Certificate and Masters in Orthodontics. I am also certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and treat my patients to the highest standards of my profession. I love making a difference in my patients’ lives by giving them beautiful and confident smile!

I love spending time with my husband, Elliot and our 13 pound dog named Alice. I also love being around my family and friends. I have recently taken up hiking, cycling and yoga to stay fit!
